The pinning application requires a very low dosage to “freeze” the dot gain, while the full cure requires a high dosage to fully cure the ink. SST’s LED system can be integrated onto any inkjet press. The industry’s most compact and smart design allows for it to also be added onto an existing press in addition to the existing UV system so the performance can be validated at no risk before removing the UV and exhaust systems. A typical single station inkjet press will be retrofit in less than 2 hours.
